BACKGROUND
I have used Sage 50
(formerly called Line 50) since 1987, when I worked in London with a company
that became Sage’s largest dealer. The Sage Group plc, based in the UK, is the
largest publisher of accounting software in the world. The Sage 50 accounting
software range includes Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Accounts Plus, and Sage 50
Accounts Professional, allowing users to select a product which best suits
their requirements. Most of our clients use Sage 50 Accounts Professional
(formerly called Sage Line 50 Financial Controller) and which includes full
stock control, order processing, foreign currency and multi-company
consolidations. All versions have a comprehensive report writer, and are easy
and intuitive to use.
We still sell Sage 50 software
because we believe it is the best software in the NZ market for small to medium
sized businesses. It is robust and provides all the functionality a business
needs. We can integrate it with other business software, and can provide PC and
network support.
We also can provide Sage
Line 100 accounting software support, and develop applications using Retrieve
4GL.

new version now available - Sage 50 v18/2012
Sage
50 2012 / v18 is now available. I believe that this is a significant
improvement over earlier versions, and I would like all users to carefully
consider upgrading. We do not recommend every upgrade to our users, as I do
not believe every upgrade represents good value for money. However, as most
of our clients are using v15, the number of improvements now available make
Sage 50 2012 a good upgrade to consider. As well as this, the fact that
many Windows XP computers are now being replaced with new 64bit Windows 7
computers make it even more important to keep your Sage accounting software
up to date. More
